Self-produce your show affordably and professionally in a fabulous black box theater, our Studio A, that comfortably seats up to 75 people.
What the theater has to offer: Space We boast a 28x42 unobstructed space. We also have a secure dressing room to accommodate your cast during performances. Floor We have a beautiful blonde, sprung dance floor that can be covered with our reversible (black/white) marley during performances for a one-time fee of $200. Location Triskelion is located just a few short blocks from the Bedford Avenue L train, a hot spot which is only a hop skip and jump from most parts of Brooklyn or Manhattan. Lights Triskelion has a full lighting grid with over 40 instruments and a computerized light board, so you can create simple to complex lighting designs! Triskelion's Technical Director is available to light your shows or you may bring in your own designer. Sound We have a dual CD deck, 6-channel mixing board and a powerful stereo amplifier. We can also accommodate almost any sound equipment you supply, such as iPods, laptops or any components that connect using RCA, 1/4" mono, or 1/8" stereo connectors. Video Triskelion has a high-quality video projector available for rental and a white back wall for projections if desired. Please contact us to inquire about rates and availability. Staff When you book your show, you will always have a Technical Director on site to help you with any of your technical needs and you may also arrange for a Triskelion staff member to act as your house mananger and box office/bar attendant. Audience In this unique space, we can set up audience to feel comfortable and cozy at 25, yet accommodate up to 75. Curtains Our performance space can transform to your specifications. We have optional wings, up to 5 per side at 3' or 5' widths and an upstage white back wall that can easily change to a black a curtained crossback. |

"INFORMAL SHOWINGS" WITHOUT LIGHTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EITHER STUDIO without express clearance from the management. SHOWS IN THE THEATER (Please note that exclusive rentals of the theater are not available. Any shows that require elaborate sets or props/storage can not be accomodated, as our theater space functions as a rehearsal studio for a large renter base that requires a clean, vacant working space.) There are many AVAILABLE RUNS in the theater in late 2009 and 2010 and beyond: Please email us for details at info@triskelionarts.org Triskelion's Studio A/Theater is ideal for short runs but longer ones may be accommodated.
General rates are as follows for future performance contracts: • Tech. time including our Technical Director (required): $68/hr. There is a required minimum of 2 tech. hours • Performance time including our Technical Director (required): $83/hr. There is a required minimum of 3 show hours and 3 days of performance. • Lighting Design Fee (required): one-time fee of $350 • Marley usage Fee if applicable: one-time fee of $200 • a video projector and a killer smoke machine are available for rental for tech and shows (only w/ our TD present.)
